Giving in to the fear of failure hides your ability to reach your potential. Fear is the loud giant roaring in your mind, while faith is that whisper that pushes you forward. Too many times, we listen to the roaring giant because we can&#8217;t hear the whisper. We become less than God meant us to be, a shell of who we could have become.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rationalization of Fear<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2 Timothy 1:7,<\/strong> \u201cFor God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fear is not from God. If fear is driving your decisions, something other than God is shaping your future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The sad part is that we accept outcomes as destiny. We justify results based on effort, not potential. Fear doesn\u2019t just scare us; it rewrites our beliefs. It convinces us that safety equals wisdom, that smallness equals humility, and that resignation equals maturity. We start calling retreat \u201cdiscernment\u201d and paralysis \u201cpatience.\u201d That\u2019s how fear survives\u2014by disguising itself as reason.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Psalm 56:3, <\/strong>\u201cWhen I am afraid, I put my trust in you.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Potential is Stewardship<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But potential is not a suggestion. It is stewardship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Proverbs 29:25<\/strong>, \u201cThe fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What we often call destiny is simply the sum of our surrendered decisions. We accept outcomes as if they were set in stone, when in reality, many were negotiated away out of fear, not through rebellion, but through caution, hesitation, and waiting until we felt ready, qualified, or safe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you listen to your fears, you will die never knowing what a great person you might have been.\u00a0~ <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Robert_Schuller\">Robert H. Schuller<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Joshua 1:9, <\/strong>\u201cBe strong and courageous\u2026 Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fear Does Not Make Us Evil<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fear does not make us evil. It makes us incomplete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And the tragedy isn&#8217;t failure. Failure refines, teaches, and humbles.<br \/>\nThe real tragedy is never trying because we convince ourselves that silence is obedience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Isaiah 41:10<\/strong>, \u201cFear not, for I am with you\u2026 I will strengthen you, I will help you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Faith is not loud. It seldom competes with fear in volume. It speaks through invitations: &#8216;Step forward.&#8217; &#8216;Trust Me.&#8217; &#8216;You were made for more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The question is not if fear will roar, because it always will.<br \/>\nThe real question is whether we will base our lives on noise or on truth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We are not victims of fate; we are stewards of a calling. Fear isn\u2019t just a limit on the present\u2014it shortens the impact of the echo that is your life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Psalm 27:1, <\/strong>\u201cThe Lord is my light and my salvation\u2014whom shall I fear?\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fear buries purpose not by force, but by permission.
